First Ontario Dealer Day fast approaching

Dealer_Day-300On Wednesday, April 16, Ontario Dealer Day, hosted by the Trillium Automobile Dealers Association (TADA) and Co Auto, is taking place at the Paramount Event Venue, in Vaughan, Ont.

This highly anticipated dealer focused event, will feature a full exhibit hall (with more than 70 vendors) as well as special keynote sessions from renowned thought leaders, including former U.S. Navy SEAL Commander and leadership expert Leif Babin, and former Calgary Flames CEO and entrepreneur Ron Bremner.

Michele Kearney, Marketing Manager for TADA says that 500 dealers are already pre-registered for the event and there’s a lot of excitement about Dealer Day both among dealers and vendors.

“The vendors have been asking for an event like this for a number of years,” says Todd Bourgon, Executive Director, TADA. “We travel extensively to events in the U.S. but we’ve always wanted to do a trade show here at home where dealers can actually buy products and services.”

Bourgon says that the schedule was designed to make the event a complete industry day. Both TADA and Co Auto will be holding their Annual General Meetings during Dealer Day, while the 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. opening hours give dealerships a chance to send staff in waves, minimizing their time away from the store as well as their ability to earn income.

Kearney says that from the outset, Dealer Day was designed to appeal to all staff within the dealership, not just specific departments. “This is an event for everyone,” she says, “from dealer principals and general managers, to salespeople and technicians. We have vendors exhibiting everything from software to digital marketing, to service equipment and financial products.”

Universus Media, publishers of Canadian auto dealer and Affaires automobiles will be on site during Dealer Day, not only covering the event but also exhibiting.
