HGreg was named recipient of the Canadian Business Excellence Award in the Private Sector, the company recently announced.
This is the third consecutive year it has received the prize, awarded by Excellence Canada and meant to recognize the best practices in customer service, employee mobilization, and innovation in the workplace among Canadian businesses.
In a news release John Hairabedian, President of HGreg, said the award greatly affirms the company’s vision and strategy, which he said are rooted in innovation and proactive customer service. “Being one of only a handful of companies to be honoured nationwide is a testament not only to our performance, but also to the trust our customers place in us day after day,” he said in a statement.
Allan Ebedes, President of Excellence Canada, also offered a few words, noting that Canadian organizations were recognized for their excellent practices this year. “This distinction rewards the sustained efforts and remarkable commitment of all the members of these organizations,” he said in a statement.
HGreg said the winners will be honoured at a ceremony held at Toronto’s Eglinton Grand on September 23, as part of Excellence Canada’s Ruby Jubilee. The Canada Awards for Excellence were founded in 1984 by Industry Canada.
