Arisa Cox landed her big TV break in 2001 as a contestant on U8TV: The Lofters, Canada’s first reality series which chronicled the lives of eight people living in a loft for a full year. Since then, Arisa has worked on both sides of the camera for E!, The National, CBC News Network, Cineflix and Entertainment Tonight Canada. Now, she’s come full circle as the host of Slice TV’s hit reality series, Big Brother Canada 2. She also co-hosts a radio show in Edmonton. Arisa divides her time between homes in Toronto and Edmonton with her husband and two kids: daughter Aella and son Cassius.
“The tailgate feature is pretty awesome. My kids and I have been known to drive to a beautiful spot in the countryside in the summertime and have a picnic on it,” says the 35-year-old mother of two. “We found our beauty for a great price, fully loaded.”
The massive music collection on my car’s server is pretty rad. I’m a music junkie and it allows me to sing along to Radiohead, Gotye, Little Dragon, K’naan, Bjork, Dev, Kimbra, K-os, Beyonce, Esthero and Justin Timberlake with my 4-year-old Aella all day every day, without ever having to fumble with actual CDs or an iPod!”
