Hyundai and Bell Canada now have an extended, multi-year partnership meant to provide their Canadian customers with connected infotainment services that raise the bar for in-vehicle experiences.
In a news release, Bell Canada said that through its IoT (Internet of Things) connectivity, Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis customers can benefit from both fast and reliable access to infotainment features. The partnership is also exploring other services, including over-the-air software updates, music/video streaming, casual gaming, and eventually Wi-Fi hotspots.
In a statement Costa Pantazopoulos, VP of Product at Bell, said the company is pleased to partner with Hyundai to transform the vehicle ownership, driving, and passenger experience for Canadians with “cutting-edge offerings, powered through our network.”
“Our mutual commitment to service excellence and technology innovation creates a powerful partnership that has been shaping the future of vehicle mobility since 2017, and we’re excited to continue on this road in the years to come,” he said.
Furthermore, the company noted that its partnership with Hyundai also focuses on the continued development of more capabilities: embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card (eUICC), advanced navigation, feature on-demand service, expanded voice recognition capabilities, and new electric vehicle functions.
