BMW is once again the largest U.S. automotive exporter by value. This is the seventh consecutive year that BMW Manufacturing has topped the list of U.S. automotive exporters, based on data released by the U.S. Department of Commerce. The OEM exported 218,820 sports activity vehicles and coupes during 2020, most of which were produced in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Almost a quarter of the exported vehicles went to China.
