Hyundai website will get verified owner reviews

UK-based Revoo will provide user-generated content for Hyundai Canada’s new consumer website when it is launched. The company has been collecting detailed reviews from verified Hyundai drivers since last November in a system designed to eliminate any chance of fake reviews getting through.

The deal is Reevoo’s first in North America, and it gives a voice to Hyundai customers, says Lawrence Hamilton, director of marketing with Hyundai Auto Canada.

“Not only do we get to plug in to direct feedback from Canadian Hyundai drivers and learn from them, but we also get to share that feedback with people who might be researching their next vehicle,” he says. “In an era where shopping online for the vast majority of consumer goods involves customer reviews, it’s time for this valuable content to migrate to the North American automotive industry.”

More than 2,200 customer reviews have been collected to date, with no vehicle rated below 8.5 out of 10, Hamilton says.

“It’s one thing for Hyundai to say it has high-quality vehicles; Reevoo empowers customers to say the same thing, but on our behalf,” says Hamilton.
