British-Columbia based Open Road Auto Group has once again been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for the fourth consecutive year, earning the Gold Standard status.
OpenRoad said it is the only B.C. company in the automotive category to receive the award.
The Best Managed Award, sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC, the National Post, Queen’s School of Business and MacKay CEO Forums recognizes Canadian owned and managed companies with revenues over $10-million for excellence in business performance.
“I am so proud of our team for achieving this prestigious gold standard designation as part of the Best Managed Companies program,” said Christian Chia, President and CEO of OpenRoad Auto Group, in a written release.
“We are focused and committed to raising the bar in the automotive industry for both our customers and employees, so it is such an honour to be recognized for our efforts with this remarkable accomplishment,” said Chia.
In the past year, the dealership group has opened three new dealerships. The company also said it plans to unveil a state-of-the-art Volkswagen dealership, as well as the largest Audi dealership in Western Canada later this year.
The 2015 award winners will be honoured at the annual Canada’s Best Managed Companies gala in Toronto on April 12, 2016.
