As millennials enter the workforce, the Canadian auto industry is looking to attract top talent.

Sym-Tech Automotive Dealer Services Inc. helps to support this by offering a scholarship program with the Automotive Business School of Canada at Georgian College in Barrie, Ont.

The Canadian F&I provider announced that Kyle Diniz, a second year Georgian College student, was the latest recipient of the Sym-Tech scholarship. Diniz received a $2,000 reward and a co-op placement at Sym-Tech beginning January 2016.

“This award will positively contribute to my learning in the classroom and, most importantly, provide me with an opportunity for experience in the automotive business field,” said Diniz, in a written release.

Since 2011, Sym-Tech has been awarding Georgian College students enrolled in their second year of the Business Administration – Automotive Marketing and Automotive Business program that meet all the eligibility criteria.

“Georgian College is developing Canada’s next generation of retail automotive professionals. We are pleased to be able to support their program and recognize Kyle’s outstanding achievements with the Sym-Tech scholarship,” said Chris Cawston, Sym-Tech President and General Manager.
