HGreg has been named a recipient of the 2026 Canadian Business Excellence Award for Private Businesses, marking the fourth consecutive year the Quebec-based dealership group has received the national recognition.
The award, presented by Excellence Canada, recognizes organizations that demonstrate sustained performance in customer experience, employee engagement and organizational innovation. Recipients are evaluated through an independent assessment based on Excellence Canada standards.
HGreg President John Hairabedian said the award comes at a time when automotive retailers face rapidly evolving consumer expectations.

Founded in 1993, HGreg operates new- and used-vehicle dealerships in Quebec and the United States. The company said it continues to focus on technology, transparency and customer service as part of its retail strategy.
The 2026 Canadian Business Excellence Awards ceremony will be held Sept. 23 at the Eglinton Grand in Toronto, where organizations from across Canada will be recognized for achievements in business excellence.
Excellence Canada’s awards program recognizes private-sector organizations that demonstrate consistent performance across key operational areas, including customer satisfaction, employee engagement and continuous improvement.
