TSD Mobility Solutions adds major enhancements to new rental system

Fleet management company TSD Mobility Solutions has announced significant enhancements to its new rental system, with multiple releases expected throughout 2025.

Its newly redesigned TSD RENTAL mobile application was launched for customers this spring and highlights the company bringing more consumer-facing capabilities into the operational side of the rental business. These changes are meant to create better experiences for rental agents and the customers they serve. 

“We work with the largest rental car companies in the world,” said Shawn Concannon, President of TSD, in a statement. “With their help and feedback, we’ve developed features that put this cutting-edge technology in the hands of their agents and customers.”

TSD said both will benefit from improved Loyalty Program features that allow consumers to book, manage, and retain their own information.

The company also said it has built tighter inventory controls for the life cycle of the fleet using integrated buying and selling tools, which are based on local markets. “Changes like this will help car rental companies adapt quicker to economic highs and lows.”

For 2025, they have several releases planned, such as improved rate management and more visual damage documentation flows. “Existing mobile users will have the opportunity to leverage QR codes more in the new product — both at the traditional counter and when completing self-service rentals — to expedite the overall process.”

Rollout plans for the TSD RENTAL platform are also underway. Those plans should be unveiled in the coming months.
