PBS Systems scholarship fund to support ABSC students

PBS Systems created a scholarship fund in support of students attending the Automotive Business School of Canada (ABSC) at Georgian College in Barrie, Ont.

Its award will be offered to two full-time Georgian College students on an annual basis. Those students must be enrolled in their third or fourth year of the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (Automotive Management) program, and they must demonstrate a commitment to the automotive industry.

“This scholarship represents our commitment to future industry employees, Georgian College, and the ABSC,” said Wesley Pike, Director of OEM Business for PBS Systems.

He said regardless of where the students choose to pursue a career, whether that means in a dealership, with an OEM, or in a technology-based company (such as PBS), “we are pleased to be able to support their ongoing efforts within the automotive industry.”

The company said in a news release that it is passionate about supporting higher education and the next generation of automotive professionals, and they look forward to creating future learning opportunities with the college and the ABSC.
