U.K. needs to invest billions in EV charging

With the sale of internal combustion engine vehicles set to be banned in 2035, the U.K. will need to invest £16.7 billion (CA$28.91 billion) in public electric vehicle charging infrastructure to meet that goal. “The research, from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), estimates that 1.7 million public chargers will be needed by 2030, and 2.8 million by 2035, targets that will require the installation of 507 chargers every day over the next 15 years,” said Auto Express.
