Tesla term “Autopilot” banned in Germany

Tesla’s use of the terms “Autopilot” and “Full Self Driving” have been banned in Germany by Munich’s Regional Court due to its controversial nature. “Calling both ‘misleadingly prohibited’, the Court banned further use of both names, not least because Tesla’s promise of Full Self Driving to ‘drive autonomously by the end of 2019’ would necessarily contain illegal driving functions in Germany,” said Forbes.
