Impact Auto Auctions Ltd. held the first auction at its new Edmonton area facility on Feb.8, 2016.
While construction of the new facility is scheduled to be completed later this fall, the company is directing Edmonton area assignments and Early Tow and Appraisal (ETA) Vehicles to the site in temporary office units.
Upon completion, Impact said the site will provide 47 acres of vehicle storage that will allow the company to consolidate its Greater Edmonton operations into a single facility.
The 12,500 sq.ft. facility is located at 26419 Twp. Road 525A in Acheson, Alta.
“Impact has experienced significant growth in northern Alberta over the last several years and this new facility will ensure we continue to meet the needs of our customers in this market for many years to come,” said Terry Daniels, Managing Director for Impact, in a written release.
“We are extremely excited about the opening of this first phase, and look forward to delivering an enhanced service experience to our customers when construction is complete and the site fully opens later this year,” said Daniels, and added Impact will keep customers up-to-date on the construction progress over the coming months.
