Porsche Canada builds new dealership, headquarters

Porsche-1-300Porsche Canada recently started construction on its new Porsche Centre and the spot that will hold the brand’s future Canadian headquarters.

The more than 60,000 sq.ft. space will house 50 Porsche Cars Canada personnel and the first training centre in Canada, which has two work bays to be used nationwide.

There’s also a dealership showroom that can accommodate 27 new and pre-owned vehicles, along with an underground garage with ample parking spots.

Porsche-2-300The new head office will be situated at the northeast corner of highway 401 and 404 in Toronto, Ont. The new location will, “provide the marque with a presence in an important and convenient corridor of the Greater Toronto Area, where approximately 600,000 vehicles pass daily,” said the company in a written release.

“Our customers have been embracing our products year after year; therefore it is only natural that we grow our footprint in order to serve them even better as well as pave the way for continued success,” said Alexander Pollich, President and CEO of Porsche Cars Canada Ltd., who was present at the groundbreaking ceremony.

He was joined by Detlev von Platen, Executive Member of the Board Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG, along with representatives from Agellan Capital Partners Inc., Traugott Building Contractors, Ware Malcomb design firm and the City of Toronto.
