Hyundai moves service scheduling online

Hyundai-300Hyundai dealerships in Canada will soon enable customers to schedule service appointments via computer, tablet or smartphone.

“Hyundai has a long history of adopting the latest technology and bringing it to consumers, and this is an extension of that commitment,” said Annie Deslauriers, Director of Customer Services at Hyundai Auto Canada Corp., in a written release.

“By offering our customers the ability to schedule their vehicle service online, on their own time, Hyundai dealers are standing out from the competition with this modern premium approach,” added Deslauriers.

Customers who use the free “Hyundai Car Care Scheduling” platform, powered by Xtime’s Scheduling 7 service, will be able to book appointments online at their local dealership.

Hyundai said the program is currently in trial phase at 10 of its dealerships, and will roll-out to participating dealers nationwide by the end of the year.
