With auto show season well underway, Toronto welcomes automobile enthusiasts for the Canadian International AutoShow, the largest automotive show in the country.
Held from Feb. 13-22 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, CIAS is all about a glimpse into the future, displaying concept cars sporting the latest fashions in automotive design and improved fuel-efficiency.
Attendees will even have the chance to test out Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Peel P50 three-wheeled microcar, the world’s smallest manufactured street-legal car.
Also sure to excite this year is the AutoExotica exhibit that includes drool-worthy, luxurious vehicles from Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls Royce, McLaren, and a limited edition LaFerrari on display this year, courtesy of Robert Herjavec from Shark Tank.
On Thursday, Feb. 12, when doors open to the press, the Trillium Automobile Dealers Association will continue to test automotive tech students from across 20 high schools on their mechanical knowledge and prowess in its annual competition that has taken place over the last 16 years. The winners will represent TADA at the National Automotive Technology Competition in New York in April.
“Industry Day” on Friday, Feb.13 will bring in leading professionals to share their insights on how auto intenders research and shop across multiple digital platforms, and the ways in which OEMs, dealers and marketing agencies can leverage that big data.
