On August 29, online wholesale vehicle marketplace TradeRev hosted its first annual Revvie Awards Gala at Malaparte, located at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) Bell Lightbox at 350 King Street West in Toronto, Ont.

Canadian auto dealer was invited to the first annual Revvie Awards, which provided plenty of opportunity for those in the auto retail industry to catch up, strike up new friendships, and celebrate the year’s past achievements. Despite taking place on the eve of the Labour Day Weekend, the first annual Revvie Awards Gala was well attended. Emcee Mark Endras provided lively, entertaining commentary and throughout the evening there was a great sense of not only how far we’ve come in auto retailing over the last few years but also the level of excitement and opportunity that lies ahead.

The official winners of this year’s Revvie Awards in each of their respective categories were as follows:

  • Best Closing Ratio — Audi Downtown;
  • Highest Volume — Otto’s Subaru;
  • Most Vehicles Won Under $10k — Roy Samad, Global Fine Imports;
  • Most Vehicles Won $10-20k — Mark Wilson, Wilson’s Better Used Cars;
  • Most Vehicles Won Over $20k — Dave Sepehri, Autoplanet;
  • Best Appraisal Video — Mike Bewley, Performance BMW;
  • Best Dealer Group Implementation — Groupe Park Avenue;
  • TradeRev Ambassador Award — Hugh Sisley, Sisley Motors;
  • TradeRev’s Choice Award, Top Buyer — Wendy & Kevin Bavelaar, Auto Showplace;
  • TradRev’s Choice Award, Top Dealer — Downtown Subaru Toronto.
