This week, Canadian Black Book and J.D. Power announced that a third annual TalkAUTO Canada conference will take place in 2014. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 19 at the Toronto Congress Centre in Toronto, Ont.

The theme of this year’s conference will be “The Future of Automotive Retail” with guest speakers and panelists exploring the trends that are shaping the landscape and the implications for both Canadian OEMs and their dealer networks.

At present, confirmed speakers include respected industry forecaster Jeff Schuster of LMC Automotive; Chris Sutton, automotive retail practice leader at J.D. Power; and Josh Bailey, Vice-President, Research and Editorial, with Canadian Black Book.

Additionally, TalkAUTO Canada has also announced that Dianne Craig, President and CEO of Ford Motor Company of Canada, will be this year’s OEM keynote speaker. Craig will share Ford’s vision for its retail network evolution in Canada. The popular TalkAUTO Retailer Panel will return this year led by Peter MacDonald, chair of the Ford of Canada National Dealer Roundtable.

As in previous years, TalkAUTO Canada is offered to the industry free of charge due to the generous support of its sponsors. The conference is designed to be a major information gathering and networking opportunity, allowing all stakeholders, including dealers, OEMs, auto finance providers, media and other suppliers to share best practices.
