As a move toward streamlining the upload process and increasing buyer confidence, Dealer-Auction.ca has partnered with CarProof.
Dealer-Auction.ca, which went live in Canada in June, is the Canadian counterpart of Dealer-Auction.com, currently the UK’s largest online auction for dealers.
“The response from dealers in Canada has been phenomenal,” remarked Andy Higgs, general manager for Dealer-Auction.ca in Canada. “Dealer sellers and buyers alike have really taken to the ease and simplicity of our system.”
The new partnership with CarProof means that when a dealer uploads the VIN, a copy of the report will be available for the buyer to view free of charge.
CarProof, founded in 2000, provides Canada’s most detailed and reliable vehicle history reports, delivering critical information in a range of areas, from accident and fire damage data to inspections and maintenance backgrounds. CarProof boasts more than 5,000 dealer partners and is used in 100 per cent of Canadian provinces and the U.S.
