Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. has announced the appointment of Matt Girgis as chief financial officer. Girgis will join the ranks of Volvo Canada at the new head office in Richmond Hill commencing June 24. He will work to further strengthen the executive management team in Canada by implementing specific financial plans and analysis parameters in line with Canadian policies. He will also oversee accounting and administration duties while executing corporate development to ensure long-term growth strategies are met.

Girgis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the Schulich School of Business, York University with a specialization in finance and accounting. He also has extensive experience in the industry, having previously worked at various positions within Volvo Cars of Canada as well as serving with BMW Group.
