Polestar Montréal officially opened on December 13 and will operate out of a multi-story container showroom that uses repurposed/retired shipping containers in a “clean and minimalistic architectural manner,” according to the company.
“Quebec is a crucial province for Polestar, especially since residents are particularly interested in electric mobility, and now is the right time to introduce the home of the brand in Montréal,” said Hugues Bissonnette, Head of Polestar Canada.
The showroom is actually located in Laval and not Montreal, although the island is next to Montreal. It will feature avant-garde architecture with Polestar’s signature minimalist design style, along with its specific retail approach that includes an immersive consumer experience.
“With the recent introduction of the 2022 Polestar 2 variants in Canada, our performance EV now qualifies for a provincial incentive of $8,000 in Quebec,” said Bissonnette. “The opening of Polestar Montréal marks the perfect time and place to continue to accelerate Polestar 2 sales in Canada.”
The showroom is officially open to the public and is located at 2350 Boulevard Chomedey in Laval, Que. It is the third storefront in Canada, with the other two located in Toronto, Ont. and Vancouver, B.C.
Polestar Montréal includes “Polestar Specialists” who can assist consumers with the digital ordering process, answer questions, and coordinate test drives. The company also offers home delivery and service programs for those living within 150 miles (approximately 241 kilometres) of a Polestar space. Beyond that, a mobile service program is now available.
