Ford Canada has launched a new loyalty program for customers with “Thank You Bonus” points when buying or leasing a new Ford vehicle, or when purchasing a certified pre-owned vehicle.
The automaker’s currently existing FordPass uses a mobile platform for customers to monitor their vehicles, access complimentary remote features, and find parking. The OEM expanded the platform with its new loyalty program in Canada, called FordPass Rewards, to allow customers to earn points towards vehicle purchases, parts and service.
“Launching FordPass Rewards in Canada is the next step in our commitment to elevate the customer experience, drive brand loyalty and show appreciation to our customers,” said Bill Rowe, Vice President of Customer Service at Ford of Canada. “This program offers the ultimate flexibility to earn and redeem points at any participating Ford dealership, and vehicle owners can manage it all from the palm of their hand through the FordPass app.”
So far, the company said more than 200,000 Canadians customers have signed onto the program, and that others can enroll through the FordPass app found on the App Store and Google Play, or through FordPassRewards.ca. There is also no limit on the number of points that can be earned.
Once enrolled, customers who purchase or lease a new Ford vehicle or buy a certified used car, or service their vehicle at a Ford dealership, will receive points. These points can then be used towards vehicle parts, service, or when buying or leasing a new vehicle at any participating Ford dealership.
Ford said “virtually” all of its dealerships in Canada are participating in the program.
