Leads per listing on Kijiji Autos are up 14 per cent nationally, year-over-year, according to the company’s October Trend Report.
Engagement on Kijiji Autos properties showed the platform garnered 89 million VDP views, 68,000 calls, 1.2 million email/chat replies, and 233,000 dealership URL clicks. This was in addition to 647,000 total live listings and 137.3 average views per listing.
The report found that total listings created in October for cars and trucks reached 140,677. The average dealer listing price for a new vehicle was up 0.53 per cent to reach $46,442, and up 3.64 per cent for used to reach $19,147, YOY.
For the mass-market domestic category, the price of a new vehicle was $52,543 in October and $19,043 for used vehicles. For mass-market imports, the price of a new vehicle was $35,825 and $16,086 for used vehicles.
As for the top most popular brands nationally in October, Ford topped the list followed by Chevrolet, Toyota, Honda, Dodge, GMC, BMW, Nissan, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz — the last of which moved up from last month.
The most popular models were the Ford F-150 (up from last month), Honda Civic (down), BMW 3Series, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, Ford Mustang, Dodge Ram 1500, Ford F-350 (up), Toyota Corolla (down), and the Volkswagen Jetta (down).
