Leader Auto Resources (LAR) and Otolane have teamed up to expand the company’s dealer-to-dealer car auction platform, providing a solution for franchised car dealers in Quebec to buy and sell used car inventory.
LAR describes itself as the largest new vehicle dealer franchised buying group in North America, where its dealer-members are company shareholders who benefit from their buying group’s negotiating power. Like Otolane, the group is headquartered in Montreal, Que.; the two are working together to enhance opportunities for dealers in the province with Otolane’s online app.
“Car dealers can not only streamline their buying and selling of cars, but enjoy the unique advantages of having integrated data from the Canadian Black Book for VIN descriptions and CARFAX Canada reports for vehicle history, as well as special rates on financing and transportation options through strategic partnerships,” said LAR in its news release.
Otolane’s platform covers wholesale auctions and trade-ins, and can be used on laptops, tablets and mobile devices. LAR will be offering the platform across Quebec in a special development project designed to evaluate its potential rapid adoption and usage.
