Tesla Fremont workers worried about getting COVID-19

Tesla is attempting to calm its Fremont workers amid rising concerns over what they view as less stringent safety practices to halt the spread of COVID-19, according to CNET. Laurie Shelby, Vice President of Environmental, Health and Safety at Tesla, sent out an email to address the situation. “Since we restarted operations, we have had zero COVID-19 workplace transmissions,” said Shelby. “COVID-19 exposure has occurred outside the workplace primarily through family members or housemates,” she added.
