SiriusXM now integrated in PBS

Auto entertainment company SiriusXM Canada announced a new partnership with Dealer Management Systems provider PBS Systems that will see SiriusXM Canada Pre-Owned and Service Lane programs integrated into the DMS dealer management product.

“We are very excited to partner with PBS Systems, a leader in secure and efficient DMS solutions, to continue growing our already large footprint in the pre-owned vehicle market,” said Mike Mazgay, VP, Automotive Remarketing and Dealer Operations, SiriusXM Canada.

According to Mazgay, there are more than 3,200 SiriusXM Pre-Owned Program dealers and over 2,200 Service Lane partners participating in its programs. The partnership will help SiriusXM Canada provide dealers with added value for their customers.

For PBS Systems, it means being able to offer dealers the ability to reach more customers with audio entertainment that is free for 90 days. Dealers can do this by showcasing the music to customers during test drives, and offer customers who purchase used vehicles with a factory-installed satellite radio a three month SiriusXM subscription. This includes streaming through a SiriusXM app.

“The same offer is available through the SiriusXM Service Lane program, available to customers who bring a vehicle factory-equipped with satellite radio in for service,” said SiriusXM Canada.

The company also said the new partnership will ensure that SiriusXM Canada can “safely and securely exchange data feeds” with dealer clients of PBS Systems’ DMS software.
