Bringing process, customer and system together

RouteOne Canada attended the NADA event this year to make an announcement: the company is in the process of bringing on financing sources that are in a position to support electronic signature, according to the Gary Turac, the company’s senior director of strategic partnerships.
“It opens up discussions around a conditional sales contract, credit applications and even envisioning being able to do that through some of our OEM partners,” said Turac. “The technology is in place. Frictionless commerce, enhanced customer experience and the customer journey are still disconnected. At the end of the day, it’s how you bring all of those together.”
Turac said he noticed this theme specifically during two separate NADA shows. All of these factors are important, but the issue arises as one person attempts to solve one problem (such as enhancing the customer experience) and then they another issue comes up. “It’s a big industry and it’s very fragmented, and there are three major shifting behaviour within the dealerships.”
RouteOne’s platform brings the whole process, customer and system together to help dealers finance and sell vehicles their way. Some of their tools include eContracting for quick transfers and payments, credit application, digital retailing services, DSP/DMS integration services and more.
“Dealers can use our tools on a way that fits their own internal costs,” said Turac. “What we’ve learned over the years is that dealers have multiple different processes and different ways (of doing things) and they are okay as long as we provide the tools to help manage their companies the way they wish to do it.”
