Calgary-based Country Hills Volkswagen is the latest dealership addition to the Dilawri Group of Companies. The new dealership is the fifth Volkswagen franchise for Dilawri, and their 68th dealership nationwide. The facility has a 10 vehicle showroom, two delivery bays, an oversized six-car service drive-through and 15 mechanical service bays. The showroom has a home-theatre room and a spacious customer lounge.
Environmental responsibility and sustainability were key design concepts. Each of the 14 in-ground hoists runs on water and compressed air rather than oil. The showroom is enveloped by energy efficient floor to ceiling glass. LED light fixtures reduce power consumption, and a filtered water system eliminates a need for bottled water.
