Auction provider Manheim is planning on growing its operations in Western Canada, said parent company Cox Automotive Canada.
To help promote that, Manheim Vancouver hosted an inaugural dealer sale on October 6 at 10:00 a.m. It was held at Unit 7-19335 Langley Bypass in Surrey, B.C.
“We are extremely excited to expand our presence and service commercial and dealer customers from coast-to-coast,” said Maria Soklis, President of Cox Automotive Canada, in a written release. “This expansion will offer both loyal and prospective customers a local remarketing solution that will simplify the trusted exchange of vehicles and maximize value for both dealers and manufacturers.”
Cox Automotive Canada operates seven businesses, including Manheim, vAuto, NextGear Capital, HomeNet, VinSolutions, XTime and Dealertrack.
On October 1, 2015, Cox Automotive announced it had completed the Dealertrack acquisition —the latest addition to the Cox family. The transaction was valued at approximately $4-billion, said Cox Automotive.
