After $15 million and two years of work, Montmorency Ford, located at 7225 Taschereau Boulevard in Brossard, Que., has officially reopened for business. Having quadrupled in size to 122,000 square feet, the new store has also become Canada’s largest Ford dealer.

“With a brand new facility that incorporates the latest in technology and sustainable development, we are now able to provide the absolute best experience possible for our customers,” remarked Roger Desautels III, president of Montmorency Ford Lincoln.

“All of our staff contributed to this challenge in a remarkable way,” said Desautels “and I want to sincerely thank them for their support during the renovations.”

Customers get it all
A cafe serving gourmet food, along with workstations for customers with complimentary WiFi were just some of the features incorporated in the new Montmorency Ford building. Right down to the smallest detail, the mission was to deliver a pleasant, memorable and productive visitor experience for the dealership’s customers.

The new configuration of the store also provides a wide range of service options for clients, including a covered service drive through area, express oil changes and complimentary vehicle alignment checks.

With the expansion, Montmorency Ford now has more than 300 vehicles on display and ready for sampling at anytime. New buyers are able to drive their vehicle off the lot in less than two hours after signing the paperwork, regardless of the temperature or season.

Ultra modern and environmentally conscious
Modern in design and well-lit, the new four-storey facility provides an inviting space both for customers and the dealership’s 115 employees.

Environmental aspects are a major consideration for the Montmorency Ford Lincoln team, with major investments not only in aesthetics but also sustainable practices. The new building was constructed using recycled materials and was designed to remain current over time. Additionally, it was conceived as a model in high performance and energy efficiency, while significantly reducing the store’s environmental footprint. The improvements are at the heart of the Millennium Image program, created by Ford to improve energy efficiency across its dealer network.

“At Ford we are committed to the environment,” remarked Bertrand Lessard, general manager, Ford of Canada, Quebec region.

“By focusing on more sustainable choices in the process of both design and renovation,” said Lessard, “dealers are able to increase the positive impact they have on their community.”
