Toyota giving away new RAV4s in RRoll Up The Rim To Win Contest

February 20, 2013

Toyota-giving-300To help raise the profile of its brand new RAV4, Toyota Canada Inc. will be giving away 40 of its Woodstock, Ont. built crossover utilities as part of the latest Tim Horton’s RRoll Up The Rim To Win Contest. This marks the eighth time that Toyota and Tim Horton’s have teamed up for this event.

“The 2013 Toyota RAV4 is built right here in Canada, and it’s designed to get Canadians to the fun activities they love – whether it’s to the hockey rink, on a camping trip, or anywhere else their leisure time takes them,” remarked Stephen Beatty, managing director of Toyota Canada Inc. “That makes the RAV4 a perfect fit for this contest, because there’s also nothing more Canadian than stopping at a Tim’s along the way.”

With its 2013 redesign, the RAV4 enters its fourth generation. Key highlights on the latest model include more modern, fluid styling, a revised liftgate that now hinges upward, standard four-cylinder engine (no more V6), standard six-speed automatic transaxle, available dynamic torque control and a range of available in-vehicle technologies. There’s also ample seating for five, class-leading cargo capacity (with the rear seats folded) and eight-standard airbags.

Each of the RAV4s up for grabs in the giveaway contest are Limited AWD models and will be advertised not only on RRoll Up The Rim To Win cups, but also in television, radio and billboard campaigns and also participating Tim Horton’s restaurants across Canada.

The RAV4, along with the Corolla, is Toyota’s most important vehicle in the Canadian market in terms of volume and this contest will likely help spur demand and drive traffic to dealer showrooms, especially as Spring approaches (traditionally the time when new vehicle sales in Canada tend to ramp up).
