Dilawri Group of Companies is expanding its relationship with Kia with a new dealership in Vaughan, Ont., and plans for a significant redevelopment of the property.
The automotive group announced Oct. 6 that Kia Vaughan had opened at 9088 Jane Street, becoming its third Kia dealership in Ontario. Dilawri also operates Markham Kia and 401 Dixie Kia.
“Kia Vaughan reflects our continued investment in the Kia brand and our commitment to serving one of Canada’s fastest-growing communities,” said Ahsan Syed, Vice-President of Operations – Ontario region at Dilawri, in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming customers from Vaughan and across the Greater Toronto Area while continuing to deliver the exceptional experience they expect from Dilawri.”
Kia Vaughan is currently operating from an existing two-storey facility with 10,395 square feet of showroom space. The dealership includes 16 service bays, two alignment bays, four detailing bays and two dedicated vehicle delivery bays.
The property is also slated for redevelopment, with completion anticipated in late 2027. Dilawri said the updated dealership will incorporate Kia’s next-generation retail environment, including a more open showroom, expanded consultation and customer amenity areas and integrated digital experiences.
The opening also expands Dilawri’s dealership footprint in the Greater Toronto Area. The company said the location will create new employment opportunities and serve customers in Vaughan and surrounding communities.
Dilawri, which was founded in 1985, represents 38 automotive brands across 86 franchised dealerships in Canada and the United States and employs more than 4,500 people.
