Team Velocity joins GM Canada vendor program

Team Velocity is expanding into Canada after being approved as a vendor in General Motors of Canada’s Dealer Customer Lifecycle program, known as the CSSR Choice Program. The Washington-based automotive technology company said Canadian GM dealers can now use its Apollo platform to connect dealership systems and manage customer interactions across sales, service and marketing operations.

“Participating in the CSSR Choice Program represents an important step in our continued growth and our alignment with GM Canada dealer initiatives,” said David Boice, Co-founder and CEO of Team Velocity, in a statement. “We’re supporting GM Canada dealers through the program, giving them the ability to connect their data, understand their customers more clearly, and act on that insight in real time. That’s what drives retention today.”

According to Team Velocity, the Apollo platform is designed to consolidate dealership data from multiple systems into a single platform intended to support customer retention and improve communication with consumers. The company said the system includes direct dealer management system integration, tools that analyze upgrade and trade-in patterns, automated customer communications and a centralized dashboard for lead management and follow-up activity.

Team Velocity said the expansion into Canada comes as dealerships face increasing pressure to modernize operations and meet changing consumer expectations around digital retailing and customer engagement. The company also said it will participate in GM Canada-led dealer engagement events across the country as part of the CSSR Choice Program rollout.

Team Velocity describes Apollo as an integrated retailing platform aimed at helping dealerships manage the customer journey from initial engagement through vehicle ownership.
