Canadian-owned tire distributor Groupe Touchette has appointed Nicolas Touchette and Frédéric Bouthillier as Co-CEOs, alongside Egil Moller Nielsen as Chief Operating Officer, the company recently announced.
The Co-CEOs will jointly oversee Groupe Touchette’s strategic direction. The leadership changes are in-line with the company’s focus on accelerating growth and their “best-in-class” vision. To move things forward quickly, they plan to make key strategic changes to the operating model to ensure the leadership has both the tools and structure in place to scale and achieve its goals.
“With our combined expertise and strong industry relationships, we are committed to leveraging our collective knowledge to scale the company, drive innovation, and ensure Groupe Touchette remains at the forefront of the industry, delivering value to our employees, partners, and customers,” said Nicolas Touchette and Frédéric Bouthillier, in a statement.
The company said newly appointed COO Egil Moller Nielsen will also bring a wealth of experience to Groupe Touchette, in logistics, supply chain management, and retail innovation. He previously held leadership roles at companies like the Coop Denmark and The Lego Group in Denmark.
“I am truly excited to join Groupe Touchette at such a pivotal time in its growth,” said Egil Moller Nielsen in a statement. “The company has built an incredible foundation, and I look forward to working with the team to enhance operations, scale for the future, and drive innovation.”
