2025 TIME Dealer of the Year announced at NADA Show

With the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Show just having completed its 108th edition, this one in New Orleans, a 2025 TIME Dealer of the Year was once again selected in the United States.

Raymond Farabaugh, President of D-Patrick in Evansville, Indiana, claimed the title as the award entered its 56th year. Farabaugh was selected due to outstanding achievements in the auto industry and an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in his community.

“The TIME Dealer of the Year award celebrates the country’s top dealers who understand that their businesses thrive when they give back and help their communities grow, and Raymond truly embodies those qualities that make this award so special,” said Doug Timmerman, Ally Financial’s President of Dealer Financial Services, in a statement.

He added that Farabaugh and all of the nominees stand out for “doing it right in their industry and investing in their communities and dealership teams. Timmerman, along with CEO of TIME Jessica Sibley, announced Farabaugh as the winner at a ceremony in New Orleans that honoured all 49 nominees. Farabaugh was selected out of more than 16,000 franchised dealers across the U.S. 

As for Ally Financial, they are the exclusive sponsor of the TIME Dealer of the Year program and will provide grants to eligible 501c3 charitable organizations selected by the nominees, finalists, and winner. The winner and finalists chosen by a panel from the Tauber Institute for Global Operations at the University of Michigan, who select finalists from each of the four NADA regions before choosing a national winner.
