Stephanie Wallcraft, well-known Ontario-based writer, has been named Canadian Automotive Journalist of the Year by the Automotive Journalists Association of Canada.
The award was announced at the Hockley Valley Resort in Mono, Ont., on October 29, where Wallcraft was recognized alongside a group of Canada’s top automotive journalists. They in turn were awarded for their achievements in 10 categories at the 41st annual AJAC Journalism Awards.
Taylor Hoel, Director of Marketing and PR for Jaguar Land Rover Canada, said in a statement that the award “recognizes the pinnacle of journalistic excellence across all mediums of reporting.” She then extended her congratulations to this year’s finalist, Jodi Lai, and winner, Stephanie Wallcraft, on “their incredible impact on Canadian journalism.”
Evan Williams, President of AJAC, said the association’s journalism awards are an opportunity to recognize their members and showcase the best of Canadian automotive journalism. “Congratulations to each of our winners, thank you to everyone who submitted their work, and to all of our partners who make these awards possible each year,” he said in a statement.
