HGreg acquired a majority interest in Québec dealer group Le Prix du Gros to become a major partner as it aims to redefine the customer experience.
The alliance allows the company to combine the strength of both businesses — Le Prix du Gros being one of the largest networks of new and used vehicles in Québec — to provide a better customer experience, stimulate technological innovation, and increase growth opportunities for employees and dealers.
In a news release, Le Prix du Gros President Benoît Dusablon said HGreg has a track record that reflects the group’s values and vision. “I am convinced that this new model will benefit our general managers, our staff, and our customers at every one of our branches and generate great opportunities for growth and innovation.”
Le Prix du Gros will be able to use HGreg’s technology, network, and expertise as part of the alliance, while its dealership general managers will become co-owners. Meaning they can directly participate in operations, and contribute to the company’s long-term growth potential.
“By combining our strengths and welcoming new partners, we will be more than ready to meet the evolving needs of the community throughout this key area of Québec,” said John Hairabedian, President of HGreg, in a statement.
Overall, there are 11 Le Prix du Gros dealerships in Québec, and 35 HGreg dealerships across the province and the United States.
