Rivian seeks to sidestep ban on direct-to-consumer sales in Georgia

Rivian is reportedly investing in a new $5 billion assembly plant in Georgia. CarBuzz said the state has dealer-friendly laws that ban factory direct-to-consumer sales, but that Rivian is hoping its factory will help turn the tide in their favour. “Rivian has proposed House Bill 460, which sets out to put an end to the ban on direct-to-consumer sales.
