Tesla recalls nearly 2,800 Model 3, Y vehicles over suspension defect

November 1, 2021

Tesla is recalling 2,791 vehicles because some of its models may be defective, according to Green Car Reports. The OEM is recalling certain 2019-2021 Model 3 and 2020-2021 Model Y vehicles because the front suspension lateral link fasteners could loosen over time. “This could cause the lateral link to separate from a vehicle’s subframe, potentially shifting wheel alignment and increasing the risk of a crash,” said Green Car Reports, based on the NHTSA.
