Alan Bird, CEO of taq Automotive Intelligence, named John Currado as president of the company effective Sept.14, 2021. Currado takes over the role from Bird, while also remaining chief operations officer.
The company recently re-aligned its senior leadership, and reinvented its brand from SCI MarketView to taq Automotive Intelligence—a shift that is meant to reflect the company’s evolution towards online automotive retailing.
“With over 30 years in the financial lending and leasing business, and nearly a decade with taq Automotive Intelligence, Mr. Currado is a leader in innovation and technology in the retail automotive space,” the company said in a news release.
The company adds that Currado’s “unique and intimate” understanding of the interdependencies of the two industries will allow him to bring “strategic ingenuity and steadfast integrity to every relationship.”
