Citroen officially charged with emissions cheating in France

In recent dieselgate story developments, Car Advice said Citroen was formally charged with emission cheating offences in France, according to parent company Stellantis. The indictment is connected to the sale of diesel vehicles within French jurisdictions between 2009 and 2015. “The company firmly believes [the] emission control systems met all applicable requirements at the relevant times and continue to do so, and look forward to the opportunity to demonstrate that,” said Stellantis in a statement.
