Former President and CEO of Honda Canada Jerry Chenkin has joined HR4’s Board of Advisors to help guide the company towards further expansion.
In a news release, the end-to-end employee life-cycle solution provider said Chenkin has more than forty years of experience in the automotive industry, and played a key role in Honda Canada’s growth during his time at the helm.
“I believe we are at a pivotal point in the industry as we prepare for the expansion that will take place in dealerships post-COVID,” said Chenkin. “The dealers that are best prepared for recruitment, training and HR management will surely win.”
After his time at Honda Canada, Chenkin worked as a strategic advisor to a large Canadian automotive dealership group and helped them move the organization forward — including around the selection of its HR applications.
“Jerry’s years of experience in automotive and progressive views on the ROI of building and developing your best team will be a major asset as we continue to expand our market position across North America,” said Heather Macpherson, President and Founder of HR4.
The company was founded in 2013 and offers a suite of applications to help automotive dealerships improve their bottom line around hiring and training new employees, and tracking their productivity.
