Vancouver auto show returns with debuts, scale

The Vancouver International Auto Show returns next week, with organizers promising one of the largest editions of the event in recent years.

The show, owned and operated by the New Car Dealers Association of B.C., runs March 25-29 at the Vancouver Convention Centre and will feature more than 200 vehicles from over 30 manufacturers and dealers across nearly 300,000 square feet.

Several high-profile debuts are expected, including the Canadian debut of the Oilstainlab HF-11 hypercar and the Corvette CX Concept, along with the Western Canadian debut of the Ford Mustang GTD and Audi’s Formula 1 display car.

The HF-11, developed by California-based Oilstainlab, is a limited-production hypercar with 650 horsepower and a 12,000-rpm engine. Only 25 units will be built globally.

Ford’s Mustang GTD, co-developed with Multimatic, is positioned as the most track-focused roadgoing Mustang to date, producing 815 horsepower from a supercharged V8 and featuring a rear-mounted transaxle.

General Motors will also display the Corvette CX Concept, an electrified hypercar study that signals the brand’s future design and performance direction. Cadillac’s Formula 1 display car will make its Canadian debut, highlighting the brand’s entry into global motorsport.

Beyond debuts, the show will include a mix of luxury vehicles, battery-electric models, hybrids, classics and modified vehicles, alongside expanded retail and education areas aimed at consumers.

The Vancouver International Auto Show remains one of Western Canada’s largest consumer automotive events, drawing attention from both industry and the public.
