OpenRoad Auto Group, British Columbia’s largest automotive dealership group, just launched NextRoad, a new service designed to help car buyers in the Greater Vancouver area purchase and finance vehicles online. Customers — even those with poor credit — are matched with vehicle options based on financing rates and affordable payments.
NextRoad is one of the first services to provide customers access to a team of non-commissioned credit specialists who provide a customized automotive finance plan designed to help potential car buyers build better credit.
To do this, NextRoad works with a variety of lenders to find the best rates based on each person’s credit situation, vehicle preferences, and loan term.
The service has taken a new, simplified approach to the online purchase process. “NextRoad empowers customers with customized payment options that suit their budget with a simple process that can be completed within just a few hours — from online search to vehicle delivery right to their door,” said Brad Hansen, Director, F&I and Leasing.
A unique feature of NextRoad is the support offered to customers post-purchase. The customized automotive finance plan includes specific credit building tips and check-in dates to ensure clients stay on track financially and ultimately build better credit. The service also helps clients navigate financially challenging life events like divorce, employment interruption, bankruptcy and even credit insolvency.
“NextRoad is the future of car buying designed for today’s world where more people than ever are shopping online but may be uncertain about their credit situation due to pandemic-related job interruptions,” Hansen said. Although currently limited to customers in the Greater Vancouver area, the company has plans to expand NextRoad to the rest of the province in the near future.
