Michelle Christie
DSMA has appointed Michelle Christie as an M&A Associate focused on trucking, heavy equipment and agriculture dealerships across Western Canada.
Christie will work with dealership owners in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia on succession planning, valuations, acquisitions and ownership transitions.
Her appointment adds dedicated M&A support for commercial truck dealers at a time when the sector is receiving more attention nationally. Earlier this year, CADA launched Canadian Truck Dealers, a new division representing heavy- and medium-duty truck dealers.
Christie brings experience in sales, operations and business development, including a previous role as Sales and Operations Manager at an RV and marine dealership.
DSMA said her dealership background and experience in relationship-driven industries will support owners considering growth, succession or a future transaction.
She is a finance graduate of the University of Regina and will also support clients in the agriculture and heavy-equipment sectors.
