Oxford to implement Zero Emission Zone in August

Oxford will have a Zero Emission Zone (ZEZ) from August 2021 if the city council cabinet signs off on the plans. According to Auto Express, drivers of ICE vehicles entering parts of Oxford between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. will be required to pay a fee. It’s a pilot project and the first phase of the scheme, covering a relatively small number of streets within Oxford city centre, but will expand to most of the city in 2022.
