New Distribution Stox agreement with Michelin to benefit Atlantic provinces

Distribution Stox recently announced an agreement with tire manufacturer Michelin that will see the Atlantic provinces benefit from a broader product line.

The distribution agreement means New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island will benefit from Michelin products (the company is known for its Uniroyal and BF Goodrich brands) and rebate programs.

“We are honoured, and we consider this agreement as an outstanding opportunity,” said Leif Ellefsen, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer for Distribution Stox. “The addition of these brands strengthens our position but also our relationship with our customers from this territory.”

Distribution Stox came together after four major distributors combined their know-how to better serve their customers, and has since completed seven acquisitions. The company was founded in 2016 and although it is based in Quebec, it has expanded into Ontario and the Atlantic regions and is eyeing further expansion.

The company has numerous distribution centres and delivering vehicles, and provides tire storage services among its offerings.
