Digital Air Strike has partnered with car dealer review platform Women-Drivers.com to help dealerships attract and retain women car buyers, which is considered a major buying segment.
To back that up, Digital Air Strike said its 8th Annual Automotive Digital Retailing Consumer Trends Study indicates that 87 per cent of women look to social and review sites for help when selecting a dealership. Furthermore, an Ipsos Socialogue poll reveals women use car dealer reviews 50 per cent more than men.
“Women have a great deal of buying power and also have unique considerations when making one of the largest purchases most families make,” said Alexi Venneri, Co-founder and CEO of Digital Air Strike.
The partnership means that participating Digital Air Strike dealership clients will receive Women-Drivers.com Certified Active Dealer badges. Dealerships that receive a certain amount of reviews will be eligible for the Certified Trusted Dealer badge, which is meant to help boost their credibility and market share. It’s free-of-charge, so long as they remain clients.
The company will also integrate reviews from the site into Digital Air Strike’s platform and provide dealers with technology and services so it is easier to respond to the reviews.
Digital Air Strike said Women-Drivers.com Certified Trusted Dealers have a satisfaction score of 97.1 per cent — 12 per cent higher than non-certified dealers.
“Women like the relatability of reviews from their peers, trust the authenticity of this feedback, and make a point of visiting these stores first,” said Digital Air Strike in its news release.
According to Anne Fleming, President of Women-Drivers.com, the economic benefit of being a Certified Trusted Dealer is “achieving an average of 5 per cent increase in annual revenue,” which she said translates into $1.5 million per dealership.
“Authentic reviews by women help this segment locate dealers that demonstrate trust and a welcoming and equitable culture,” said Fleming.
