Vehicle production in the U.K. fell by 18.2% in October due in large part to suppressed demand stemming from lockdowns. During the month, 24,490 fewer cars were built than in 2019. So far this year, the market has seen a slump of 33.8% (379,308 units) compared to the first 10 months in 2019.
